He directs the PhD in Communication Sciences and the postgraduate courses in Journalism and Political Communication. He coordinates the CIES-Iscte MediaLab, the Communication Observatory (OberCom) and the Portuguese participation in the Iberian Digital Media Observatory (IBERIFIER). At inter-national level, he is a member of the Steering Committee of the Observatory on Information and Democracy and an associate researcher at the Centre d&#8217;Analyse et d&#8217;Interventions Sociologiques (CADIS).
