Ana Salgado is a lexicographer and researcher in the fields of Linguistic Sciences and Digital Humanities. She holds a PhD in Translation and Terminology from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2022) and a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures \u2013 Portuguese Studies (Scientific Branch) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (2001). She is an integrated member of the Linguistics Research Centre of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, specifically in the LLT (Lexicology, Lexicography, and Terminology) group. Her career as a lexicographer began in the Dictionaries Department of Porto Editora, where she led several landmark lexicographic projects. Currently, she coordinates the lexicographic projects of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, where, since 2023, she has served as president of the Instituto de Lexicologia e Lexicografia da L\u00edngua Portuguesa (ILLP). She is also one of the editors responsible for the publication of the Thesaurus de Ci\u00eancias da Terra. Leader of the revision project for the ISO 1951:2007 standard (Presentation\/Representation of Entries in Dictionaries) and a collaborator with the DARIAH-EU Working Group Lexical Resources. She co-leads WG1 of CA22126 \u2013 European Network On Lexical Innovation (ENEOLI). Author and co-author of numerous scientific publications. Alongside her extensive experience in editorial review for national publishers, she also works as a trainer in this area. She is a member of ISO\/TC37\/SC2 (Terminology Workflow and Language Coding). Additionally, she is part of the CT 221 \u2013 Terminologia, L\u00edngua e Linguagens, serving as president of CT221\/SC4 Linguistic Resource Management, and CT 025 \u2013 Grandezas e Unidades at the Instituto Portugu\u00eas da Qualidade (IPQ).
