Maria Manuela Tavares Ribeiro is a Retired Full Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. Researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Coimbra \u2013 CEIS20 (1998-2023), Scientific Coordinator (2007-2011) and Coordinator of the Europe\u00edsmo, Atlanticidade e Mundializa\u00e7\u00e3o Research Group (1998-2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Full Member of the Portuguese Academy of History (chair number 1), Member of the International Academy of Portuguese Culture, Correspondent Member of the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon, Member of the International Commission for the History of Representative Parliamentary Institutions (ICHRPI) and several Scientific Commissions of national and foreign research centers, namely the Master in European Studies, in collaboration with sixteen european universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coordinated the collections Estudos sobre a Europa, Hist\u00f3ria Contempor\u00e2nea and Debater a Europa. Was Chief Editor of the journal Estudos do S\u00e9culo XX (CEIS20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
