Member and Vice-Chair of the Soil Mission Board of Horizon Europe (EU Commission). Coordinator of the Living Lab on Montado Regeneration through Soil Health. Coordinator of the Soil Chair at the University of \u00c9vora. 140 peer reviewed publications, including the books \u201cGovernance for Resilient Mediterranean Silvo-Pastoral Systems: Lessons from the Iberian Dehesas and Montados\u201d, Routledge 2022 , \u201cEuropean Landscapes in Transition \u2013 Implications for Policy and Practice\u201d, CambridgePress 2018.
