Santos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zulmira Santos is Full Professor of Portuguese Literature and Culture (XVI-XVIII) at the Department of Portuguese and Romance Studies, Faculty of Arts, Universidade do Porto, Portugal. His research interests and publications include Portuguese Literature and Culture (fiction and poetry 16th to 18th century); Book History (16th-18th); Religious Literature (16th to 18th); Ethics and spirituality in the instruction of the \u00abfine courtier\u00bb;<br>She has been PI (Principal Investigator ) of the Research Project \u00abPTDC\/HAH\/72899\/2006\u00bb Spirituality and the Court (16th to 18th century) and member of the research projects \u00abLetras de frailes: textos, cultura escrita y franciscanos en Portugal y en el Imperio portugu\u00e9s (siglos XVI-XVIII\u00bb &#8211; HAR2011-23523 (PI &#8211; Federico Palomo) and \u00abArcadia Bab\u00e9lica. Usos del castellano, competencias pluriling\u00fces, cambio de paradigmas identitarios en las academias portuguesas del antiguo r\u00e9gimen\u00bb (PI-Pedro E. Rosa Grincho-Serra).<br>Teaching activity is currently centred on scientific methodologies applied to Portuguese Literature and Culture (XVI-XVIII), and \u00abLiterature\u00bb of Portuguese Colonization.<br>Zulmira Santos has been Head of the Department of Portuguese and Romance Studies (2007-2010; 2014-2022), Director of the Master \u00abEstudos Liter\u00e1rios, Culturais e Interartes\u00bb (2014 -2018) and member of the Scientific Committees of the PHD Program \u00abEstudos Liter\u00e1rios Culturais e Interart\u00edsticos\u00bb of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and of the Erasmus Mundus PhD program &#8220;&#8221;TEEME: Text and Event in Early Modern Europe&#8221;&#8221; (http:\/\/www.teemeurope.eu\/), resulting from a consortium between the universities of Kent, Berlin (Freie Universit\u00e4t), Praga and Porto.
