In her research, she has focused on Latin Literature (epic, novel, and biography) from the imperial period. She is also interested in the cultural context of the University of \u00c9vora in the 16th and 17th centuries. She has been a member of several national and international projects and, in recent years, has co-coordinated a project on Biography and Identity in the Roman Empire.
