He holds a degree in Philosophy (1969) from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (FLUL) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology (1980) from the University of Lisbon, with the thesis <em>The Children&#8217;s Apperception Test: Human Figures \u2013 CAT-H<\/em>. He also holds a diploma in Pathological Psychology and a certification in Projective Techniques from the <em>Institut de Psychologie<\/em> of the <em>Universit\u00e9 Ren\u00e9 Descartes \u2013 Sorbonne<\/em> (1971).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He taught at the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (1971-1972), FLUL (1972-1980), and FPCEUL (1980-2003). At FPCEUL, he was responsible for the courses Techniques for Psychological Diagnosis and Assessment of Intelligence and Personality, and Rorschach Psychodiagnostics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the institution, he held several leadership positions, serving as President of the Pedagogical Council (1981-1987), President of the Scientific Council (1987-1992), and President of the Directive Council (2000-2003). Additionally, he was a member of the Scientific Council of the Higher School of Education of Madeira (1987-1990).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among his numerous academic contributions, notable works include the monograph <em>The Psychoanalytic Perspective of TAT Interpretation<\/em> (1971), as well as publications in his name or in collaboration with others in prestigious journals, such as the <em>Revista Portuguesa de Psicologia, Revista Ibero-Americana de Diagn\u00f3stico y Evaluaci\u00f3n Psicol\u00f3gica, Rorschachiana Yearbook of the International Rorschach Society, Revista de la Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola del Rorschach y M\u00e9todos Proyectivos, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, Journal of Projective Psychology &amp; Mental Health, and the Revista Portuguesa de Pedagogia<\/em>, among other scientific journals.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Danilo Rodrigues Silva is a Retired Full Professor (since 1986) at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FPCEUL).
