Germano Almeida graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1977). Lawyer on the island of S\u00e3o Vicente, Cape Verde. He served as a member of the National Assembly and as Attorney General of the Republic of Cape Verde. Comendador of the Ordem do M\u00e9rito (1997) and Grande-Oficial of the Ordem do Infante D.
