{"id":21801,"date":"2025-01-24T15:25:46","date_gmt":"2025-01-24T15:25:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.acad-ciencias.pt\/?post_type=ac_scholars&#038;p=21801"},"modified":"2025-09-11T12:39:23","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T11:39:23","slug":"renato-galvao-flores-junior","status":"publish","type":"ac_scholars","link":"https:\/\/www.acad-ciencias.pt\/eng\/scholars\/renato-galvao-flores-junior\/","title":{"rendered":"Renato Galv\u00e3o Fl\u00f4res J\u00fanior"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Renato Fl\u00f4res J\u00fanior is a Ph.D. professor at EPGE \u2013 Brazilian School of Economics and Finance (FGV) in Rio de Janeiro and Director of the International Intelligence Unit at FGV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He graduated in Engineering and earned a master\u2019s degree in Statistics from IMPA, later obtaining his Ph.D. in Economics from UFRJ, with a focus on quantitative modeling and regional integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout his career, he has held strategic positions as an expert at the World Trade Organization and as a consultant for institutions such as the IDB, the World Bank, and the OECD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the author of more than fifty scientific articles and several books, including <em>The Regional Integrations Manual<\/em> (2013) and <em>The World Corona Changed<\/em> (2022), addressing themes such as geopolitics, international political economy, and regional integration.
