He is a Professor at the Mohammed V University (1998-) in Rabat and at the Open University of Dakhla (2010-). Alongside his academic career, he has held various positions in the official institutions of the Kingdom of Morocco: Advisor to the Prime Minister in various governments (1998-2011), Secretary General of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (2011-2018) and President of the Competition Council (2018-2021). He is an Officer of the <em>Ordre National de la L\u00e9gion d&#8217;Honneur<\/em> (2007), Mediterranean Award of Honor of the Mediterranean Foundation (2011), Medal of Economic Intelligence (50 Years, 50 Personalities) of the United States Agency for International Development (2011), Doctor <em>Honoris Causa<\/em> of the \u00c9cole de Commerce de Lyon (2017), President of the Economic Intelligence African Associations Forum (2018-), Corresponding Academician of the Reial Acad\u00e8mia Europea de Doctors (Barcelona, 2021), Member of the College of Emeritus of the Acad\u00e9mie de l&#8217;Intelligence \u00c9conomique (Paris, 2021), Member of the Royal Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco (2023) and International Leadership in Economic Intelligence Award by the Strategic &amp; Competitive Intelligence Professionals Consortium (USA, 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His published works include <em>Agriculture et D\u00e9veloppement au Maroc<\/em>.
