class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Academy of Sciences of Lisbon will host the next annual <strong>Symposium of the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC)<\/strong> (in-presence format) to be held on <strong>October 29-30th of 2024<\/strong>, under the General Theme of \u201cScience for Sustainability\u201d which is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.<br \/>The Organizing Commission comprehends the Presidents of both Academies, and the Symposium is chaired by a Portuguese member of both of them.<br \/>It is an international Symposium with contributions of well recognized scientists on a diversity of fields of science from various European, American and Asian countries.<br \/>Fostering the interaction of the academic and industrial sectors, the programme also includes contributions from startup and other companies oriented to sustainability issues.<br \/>The edition of a celebratory book on Science for Sustainability (to be published by a major world publisher) is also planned within the celebration of the EURASC 20th year anniversary.<br \/><strong>Registration and abstract submission are welcome
