Ana Paula Arendt, pseudonym of R. P. Alencar, is a Brazilian political scientist, poet and diplomat. She is an author of children’s books, plays, novels and collections of poems. She published the play “O Constituinte”, an honorable mention at UBE-RJ, by Editora Só Livro Bom, and the epithalamium, “As Veneráveis Virtudes do Homem”, honorable mention at the Maraã Prize, by Editora Chiado, and Sonnets to my Homeland. Brazilian honorary Veteran Marine, corresponding member of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, of the New York Academy of Sciences and of the Brazilian Physics Society.
