Maria de Fátima Nunes works in the History of Science work area; Intellectual and Cultural History exploring the impact of scientific and cultural movements on scientific culture in Portugal. She is the author of several articles and books; He regularly participates in conferences and funded national and international research projects, with the dominant focus being the use of transnational and global history, in an interdisciplinary focus on History in the Social and Human Sciences. In her career, she has been the scientific supervisor of doctoral theses, especially in the History and Philosophy of Science – museology program, having contributed to the formation of a new generation of researchers in the history of science and scientific culture, with new internationally consolidated agendas.
