Olivier Alain Gérard Penedo Pellegrino is head of the Laboratory of Photometry, Radiometry, and Radiofrequencies at the Portuguese Institute for Quality (IPQ), located in Caparica.

Pellegrino actively participates in national and international technical committees related to photometry, radiometry, and radio techniques, being involved in R&D projects, traceability studies, and interlaboratory comparisons—elements that strengthen metrological quality in Portugal.

He is also a member of the Eurachem Portugal working group in the field of chemical metrology, serving on technical committees that promote good practices in analytical measurement at the national level.
