Ana Raquel Gonçalves Moniz completed the PhD in Law (Public Law) in by the University of Coimbra (Faculty of Law) and completed the Master Degree in Law (Public Law) in 2004, and graduated in Law in 2001. She is the current President of the Entity for Transparency. She is also tenured Associate Professor in University of Coimbra (Faculty of Law), Researcher at the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research, and Visiting Researcher in the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre.
