Profile

PhD in Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2005), Master’s in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2001), and Bachelor’s in Economics from Universidade de Coimbra (1998). She is currently a Professor of Economics and Vice-President for Research and Quality at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon. She coordinates the R&D unit ISEG Research in Economics and Management and co-coordinates the XLAB-Behavioural Research Lab, the laboratory of the Portuguese consortium PASSDA (Production and Archive of Social Science Data). Her research focuses on game theory and market design, experimental economics, and behavioral economics. She has published on these topics in scientific journals such as Economic Theory, Experimental Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, and International Economic Review. She is a co-editor of the journal Notas Económicas and an Associate Editor of the Portuguese Economic Journal. She has coordinated and participated in several national and international research projects and is currently coordinating the project “Perceptions of (In)justice: Labor Market, Anti-Discrimination Policies, and Algorithms,” funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
