Philosopher and writer. Marcelino Villaverde graduated in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (1986) and earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy (1992) from the University of Santiago de Compostela, where he pursued his academic career after postgraduate studies in Paris and Chicago.
He has been a visiting professor at the Universities of Perugia, São Paulo, Kansas, Roma III, and Puebla (Mexico), among others.
Among his published works, the following stand out: Crónica viva do Pensamento Galego (2001), Historia do Pensamento Galego Contemporáneo (2016), and Anatomía do Pensar (2020). He is a member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences.
