International Relations

The Academy of Sciences of Lisbon is a member of several international inter-academic associations, such as ALLEA (All European Academies), da EASAC (European Academies Science Advisory Council), of SAPEA (Science Advice for Policy by European Academies), UAI (Union Académique Internationale), do ISC (International Science Council) e of IAP (The InterAcademy Partnerhship).
Its members regularly take part in international meetings and contribute to the preparation of policy and position papers. 

The ACL has also established protocols with various organizations and institutions, both inside and outside Europe, in particular with the network of Academies of Portuguese-speaking Countries and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
